Welcome back.
Last Wednesday, saw year 5/6 at the Sportspark for the final round of foot ball games.
My team had one game and a very important one at that. We had to beat Hethersett to finish first. A very tight game which saw chances from both teams. It finished 0-0 unfortunately we finished runners-up ,missing out by just one point.
This amazing team has won the trophy two years in a row and did not lose a game in these three rounds. A big thank you to all the parents who have come along and supported the team. Another thank you to Mr Grant for stepping in as manager.
It has been an absolute joy to manage this team, a final thank you to ; Gilby,Samuel,Nicholas, CJ ,Jesse,Sonny,Oliver,Daniel and Alfie.
Mr Lawrence's team had two games to play on this final round. First up was Hetersett the current leaders. The team had many chances at goal and were unlucky not to score. It finished 4-0 to Hetersett but the team had one more game to finish runners up. Up against Lakenham they controlled the game from the start and Harry scored two goals for them to win 2-0. A brilliant performance from all of the team. Some really great saves from Ethan and Alexander. Theo alongside Ethan or Alexander defended with pride. Lots of creative influences in midfield from Archie. P, Dylan, Archie.T. K and fantastic finishing from Harry and Liam. A big thank you to Mr Phillis for refereeing the games and the parents for supporting them.
Mrs Sutcliffe took a group of year 1-2 pupils to Eastern gymnastics festival last Friday.
They all had a fabulous time trying out all the equipment.
