Welcome to Mulbarton Sports Blog

Mulbarton have had a lot of sporting events since September. The Schools Sport Partnership Football Development League started in October and we had two teams in each 3-4 and 5-6 groups. I witnessed some magnificent goals, excellent defending and some brilliant passing in midfield. Year 5-6 won their league trophy, the other team were runners up. I have to thank both goalkeepers Max and Gilby for keeping clean sheets for all their games. In year 3-4 both teams finished runners up but, only one point difference prevented the bold team from winning. They both worked incredibly hard considering it was their first time for the year three boys. A big thank you to the parents for coming along and supporting us.
In early October over 80 pupils took part in the SSP Cross Country Event. Year 2 took part for the first time and Jude Fogarty beat over 100 other pupils to win the 1200 metre race. Years 3-5 ran 1400 metres and were amazing with 10 pupils going through to the County Finals in March.  …
