Football Development League Round 1 for Year3-4 The boys kicked off their first round of matches at the UEA . Mr Lawrence's team played two games and won both 2-0. Goals came from Thomas and Jude. Two clean sheets also meant the whole team were working very well together. My team also had a good first round. One win 2-0 and a 3-1 defeat from a very strong St Francis team. Both teams played some good football and training will resume on Mondays. Round two will be on Wednesday 27th November for Year 3-4. Round two for year 5-6will be on Wednesday 20th November.
Mulbarton took 70 pupils to the annual Cross Country Event at Earlham Park last week Every pupil finished the race with some excellent results. Year 2 pupils took part for the first time and were amazing. Elliot Dye came fourth and Amber Moore finished twelve out of nearly one hundred other pupils! All the pupils showed such great resilience and were a credit to the school. We are very pleased to have 7 runners go through to the County Final. Logan Moore Alfie Farrow Cherie Buckley Thomas Watson Chloe Munn Nymeria Gaskell William Hunt A big thank you to the parents for your help and support.
Football is back again! Year 5-6 kicked off the first round of the football development league at the UEA. Mr Lawrence's team played two games. They won the first 1-0 with a perfectly timed goal from Liam Sutcliffe. Their second game was a draw. A great start for the team. Mrs Bidder's team also won their first game 1-0 with a great goal from Jessie Bradford. Their second game was also a good result winning 3-1, again three more goals from Jessie but, also excellent teamwork to secure the win. Yesterday saw the annual cross country event at Earlham Park. We had 78 pupils taking part and ran amazingly well. Seven pupils made it through to the county final. Year two pupils ran for the first time and were fabulous ,none of them stopped though and were a credit to the school. A very big thank you to the parents who helped us yesterday! Photos coming soon.
